Overall, about 3% of the agency’s employees across all offices were affected by the layoffs, according to a person close to the situation. The shop had 366 employees last year, according to Ad Age data.

“We’re really proud of what we were able to build here in New York and thankful for the opportunity,” Suarez and Gonzalez said in an email. “We can’t say enough about the talented, generous, hard-working folks out here that made coming into the office so much fun.”

They declined further comment. San Francisco-based Goodby Silverstein & Partners declined to comment.
